This year for Christmas we stuck around town and spent time with Friends & Family:
We enjoyed an evening at my Company Christmas Party:
Decorated our house:
Enjoyed the lights at the North Vancouver Shipyard Docks:
And a snowy walk through our Neighbourhood:
I went to the Rock 101 Toy Drive Charity Breakfast:
And joined some friends for a fun night at Van Dusen Gardens:
And Huber and I did the giant Globe and Mail crossword puzzle:
And in January, we FINALLY had enough snow for some skiing. Our first day out was an icy day at Mt Baker, followed by some sweet pow on Zoa Peak in the Coquihalla:
A couple weeks later we went back to the Coquihalla for a weekend long ski trip with some friends. The snow was mediocre, but the weather and company was fabulous. We spent relaxing evenings in our cabin at Coquihalla Lakes Lodge and spent the days exploring Zoa Peak and Coquihalla Lakes Ridge:
GPS Track for Day 2 (minus the extra 3 hot laps that Mike and I did)
We also had a couple weeks of cooooold weather, which made for some good Ice Climbing close to home, in Cal-Cheak:
and we enjoyed a tasty dinner at the Salmon House:
We also spent a weekend in Whistler where I did the Arcteryx Woman's Ski Camp & Mike did a Steep Skiing Clinic. It was an awesome weekend with 60+ cm of fresh snow and a nice room at the Adara Hotel, and Mike even got a wicked souvenir - 7 stitches in his leg!
& finally, My Christmas Cactus is flowering!
